Researchers

When he was releasing the federal government’s strategy, Mobilizing Science and Technology to Canada's Advantage in 2007, the Prime Minister noted that, “to succeed in an increasingly competitive global arena, Canadians must be at the leading edge of important developments that generate health, environmental, societal, and economic benefits.1”

Canada’s nurses have solutions to keep Canada at that leading edge. To build and test new solutions, the science base of nursing needs to be harnessed and expanded.

Over the last seven years, the Canadian Nurses Foundation (CNF) has funded, through the Nursing Care Partnership (NCP), over 400 researchers from across this country.
